the grand... Bogart that we walk through a story tarabiscotée. A photo at the top and a mount that speaks. So to review. not knowing that the seven mercenaries that had me leave a good memory, What slams and what realism for the time, as it is often the copy of hollywood remains a low level (a rating of the film, the original >Being a fan since little of this kind of movie(baby kart, zatoichi...) I find that the layout of the scene, the scenery(black and white) the acting is perfect. I would like to point out a major flaw in my eyes : the image is incomplete. In fact, after comparing this DVD to the VHS, there is a lack of image strip to the top and bottom. This is very serious because the integrity of the work is not respected. I imagine going to the Louvre and see the mona lisa truncated!!! Besides, I do not understand it to be the only one to be shocked. this is also the case with "Rio Bravo" and "Settlement of accounts at the OK Corral" where the 4/3 is not respected. But what comes to some publishers? It is the obsession of the full screen that determines. Ahhh finally have the pleasure to rediscover this classic with a very good quality! In fact, the image of this BluRay is beautiful : No speckle, a beautiful dive... an image nickel! Good, of course, a small grain of film that goes from light to almost invisible depending on the plans (let's not forget that at the time, the reels were sometimes of high quality unequal)... Only very few plans have a grain a bit more pronounced... All that to say : Very nice image! Definitely even better than in a lot of cinemas at the time of its release, (with the old projos arc, and the film being over-exploited all stained, burned and then repaired ;-P). As for the sound : nothing to complain! It's all good! A very nice restoration work there too! However, for lovers of LANGUAGE : The subtitles are in the picture and not below, and they are white with a very slight black outline.. In some scenes, they are quite hard to read... They would have made them yellow or thicken the outline... anyway, this is a detail.. Pathé comes out, finally, an edition all-in-one Apocalypse Now, the so-called "final". As there is a dvd edition (Apocalypse Now - Box set 4 DVD) and a blu-ray (Apocalypse Now redux - Coffret 3 Blu-ray - limited Edition & numbered [Blu-ray]), I'll try to make the part of what they offer as clearly as possible.Cheap Molivera Organics Bentonite:

Suffice to say that even if the dvds are of good quality, it is here at least two notches above. The colors are beautifully rendered, including the yellow and the red, black would go perfectly. The definition is perfect throughout, on both versions. The audio tracks in 5. 1 (except for the version in 1979, which is only in 2. 0 VF) are perfectly clear. Everything is balanced and looks the closest to what we may see in the classroom, in ways that did not degrade the film, even when the masters do not have a grain strong. 3) "HEARTS OF DARKNESS"so This is the 'super-bonus' of this final edition. To my knowledge, this film of 1 hour 35 minutes had never been published in France and was for some years in zone 1 dvd. The disappointment comes from the fact that it was simply a repetition of the bonus Apocalypse Now Redux - Collector's Edition Long Version 2 DVD. You don't get the bonus new blu-ray, neither the text of Thoret. Still, this boxset brings together for the first time the two versions by adding "Hearts of Darkness", which is without a doubt essential. The audio commentaries are all present. However, beyond the quality necessarily lower the image and sound quality, we will only be in part frustrated by this dvd set, which offers a lot less than the blu-ray, it must be said to be particularly rich and successful.. Everyone knows this movie, everyone has seen, at the cinema, on tv or on DVD. The blu-ray presented here has the merit of we restore it in its version of 4h with a picture of an incredible beauty (as was previously the Ben-Hur or Gone with the Wind). The audio commentary was already known, it remains as pertinent as ever.
